Born in England, raised in Canada (Halifax now Vancouver). Engineer by day, triathlete in my free time. I enjoy travelling and eating good food.
In 2006 I joined my first running group with the goal of completing a 10k run. I had never been an athlete, my family was not active when I was growing up but I had moved to Vancouver and found the outdoorsy environment contagious. I grew from there to run a marathon the next year, and complete a century ride 2 years later. I naturally transitioned into triathlon, learning how to swim front crawl at 28. Seven years later, I completely an ironman! and qualified for Team Canada at the 2016 ITU Long Distance World Championships. I can't wait to continue my journey and share it with everyone.
