I was born and raised in a small town in southern Vermont. I grew up playing all kinds of sports, but decided to focus on cross country skiing in high school. I skied for Stratton Mountain School in high school and Dartmouth College for college before deciding to pursue ski racing professionally. In 2013 I was named to the U.S. Ski Team and attended my first Olympics in 2014. I feel extremely lucky to be chasing my dream every day while surrounded by such a supportive group of teammates. When I'm not ski racing, I love to be outside doing activities such as back country skiing, hiking and running in the mountains, and spending time with my friends and family. My community outreach passions are working with children to keep them active through programs such as Fast and Female, Girls on the Run, YES Kids, and weekly clinics with our local juniors throughout the summer.
