I am Lauren Patterson, I am 28 years old. I am a mountain bike coach, pro free rider and down hill racer. I have been riding for 10 years, racing for 8, and coaching for 5. My passion is in riding, racing, and sharing the joys of bikes with everyone. When Im not coaching, competing, or riding I love to draw and play music as well as hike and climb trees.
In my career as an athlete I have achieved several first place podiums and many top 5 finishes, these finishes are crowned by my Colorado state championship in Four Cross (4X) followed by a silver medal in 4X Nationals, and a National Championship Gold in Down Hill. More recently I have moved into competing in womens dirt jump competitions and have steadily moved up the ranks to achieve my first top finish at the Sugar Show Down in 2014. On a level completely aside from categorized rank and podiums, I have recovered from a devastating traumatic brain injury and returned to racing and competing. This year I claimed my first sanctioned top 3 finish since my injury.
