Job Title: Part-time Field Representative
Department: Sales
Location: Anchorage and San Diego
General Description
We're looking for Part-time Field Representatives in the following markets:
-Anchorage
-San Diego
Are you outgoing, active , comfortable working a crowd, calm under pressure, a decision maker with a non-compromising commitment to customer service? If so, we would love to hire you. We are NUUN, a Seattle company that markets electrolyte replacement tablets. Check us out at nuun.com. We are quite proud of our reputation among the world's greatest endurance athletes and weekend warriors, alike!
What You'll be Doing
We need energetic people to staff our sampling booth/table at large and small events as well as as sports specialty locations. This job is fun but you need to be the right fit. You are the brand ambassador and you will be responsible for everything from setting up and creating the right brand experience to interacting with all age groups, and writing-up a summary of the overall experience. These events may be indoors and outdoors. If you aren't comfortable hanging out (for hours) in 40 degree rainstorms or 85 degree sunny days...don't apply. You will also be responsible to transport and set up a sampling booth. This requires the ability (and enjoyment) of carrying up to 50lbs for a hundred yards, maybe more. You'll need a great marketing mind for knowing where to place marketing media and how to adapt to outdoor variables that require "conscious" thought to solve problems and accomplish the marketing goal. Finally, and most importantly, you have to be committed to customer service. This means that you need to demonstrate a sixth sense for understanding people and how to create a positive experience with a consumable product. You will be working with partner organizations and it is imperative that you approach your role with a philosophy of account management. (If you have to ask what "account management" is, its probably not a good fit.)
What do You Get for Your Time
We pay $15 per hour for all this fun. It's very part time. Most shifts are weekends and evenings. Events will likely begin in early spring 2013. This is a non-exempt position with no benefits or overtime. For aspiring marketers and ad gurus...here's a great place to cut your teeth and get paid.
What You Need
Your own transportation, a smile on your face, and a great attitude.
Are You Still Interested?
If so, please send an email and resume about why you are the perfect person to represent NUUN to colleen@nuun.com. This is a position that success = passion and attitude more than experience.
Please don't call the office. That will not demonstrate the "Customer Experience" we are looking for. An email is all we need. If you are selected for an interview we will call you ASAP.
