Patricia Walsh, a blind athlete from Seattle Washington and the 2010 Nautica New York City Triathlon Physically Challenged Open Division Champion will attempt to be the first blind woman to break 12 hours in the Ironman distance this Saturday with the help of two very special people. Our athlete ambassador program is flying high with the amazing Leanda Cave, making the podium in 3rd place @ Ironman Arizona! In typical folk-hero rhetoric the Nuuners partook in the 32nd annual pilgrimage to Kona, Hawaii, for the Ironman World Championship . Ever taken a swig of Kona cola after swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles and running 26.2 miles?
