  2. Thanks for the creative ideas! I tried the margarita, except, I didn’t have any Nuun All Day in the house (I left it at the office!). Anyway, I made the drink with Nuun Active Lemon-Lime. If you like sweet margaritas with a salt rim, this is PERFECT! Note: don’t salt the rim of the glass if you make it with Nuun Active. The electrolytes in the Nuun Active give the taste of the salt rim.

  3. I LOVE Nuun tablets…I make a pitcher everyday and pour some in a bottle when I’m on the go…I’m on call for bodywork, so rarely drink alcohol.. but I was wondering about adding “spirits” to the mix…fun article…txs!

    Note To Linda Jellison:

I am the child of two alcoholic parents, and decided not to take that route. I think it’s silly to admonish a company that’s adding information on a product because a family member has an addiction. IF you don’t like what you see on tv, change the channel…if you think an article may be offensive, don’t open the page. Here’s to hoping you choose “peace” in your situation.

  4. Haha, fun recipes! Quite a few peeps at the Oly Trials were concocting some great adult beverages with nuun. Creamsicle sounds delish!

  5. What’s in the Kona Cola float?

  6. Seriously, this just makes it fun! I use Nuun regularly for hydration during cycling, running, swimming, etc. We all know that’s what it is for. I also like to have a cocktail now and then (like a Nuuntini about an hour ago). I consider it hydration neutral. And, I will still be ready for my ride at 5:30 tomorrow morning.

You certainly don’t “need to mix it with alcohol in order to enjoy”. I completely sympathize with your situation but that’s not the case for all of us.

Actually, I bought NuunAllDay for my sister since she has kidney disease & must hydrate but doesn’t like to drink plain water. She doesn’t drink much alcohol – but happens to live with our mother who is an alcoholic. Just doesn’t make sense to me for a product intended to help people stay hydrated that they would need to mix it with alcohol in order to enjoy it?

    • You’re right Linda. You certainly don’t have to mix Nuun All Day cocktails to enjoy it, and the cocktail part of the beverage does inhibit hydration.

Some of our users have been asking for recipes so we wanted to provide them with ideas, but this is certainly not the only way – or the intended way – to use Nuun!

We hope that your sister enjoys Nuun All Day the way that it was intended to be consumed, with water.
